Kauai Passover Seder on April 14, 2014
We invite Kauai Jews and Kauai visitors to the Jewish Community of Kauai’s annual community Passover Seder.
The event will take place on Monday, April 14, 2014 at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church on Hardy Street in Lihue. Map. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and Seder begins at 6:15pm. A traditional menu will accompany prayers.
There are only 100 seats available. Please include payment with your registration form (click to print). Please pay by check; no credit cards accepted. Reservations will be closed when all seats are sold. April 7, 2014 is the final day to choose entrée. Late reservations will be accommodated with no choice of entree. Our Passover feast will be prepared by Sandy Jennings of Fresh from the Garden and includes the following:
Seder Plate; Matzoh
Gefilte Fish; Chicken Soup with Matzoh Balls
Entrée Choice of:

Chicken tagine with apricots & Moroccan spices

Salmon with lemon dill aioli

Lamb Tzimmes

Vegetarian stuffed pepper with quinoa and nuts

Children’s entree: Teriyaki roasted chicken thighs

This month we are celebrating Tu Bi’Shvat (Jewish Arbor Day).
The Kauai Shabbat service scheduled for next Saturday, February 15, 2014 has been cancelled.
Our monthly Shabbat service will take place this Saturday, December 7 at 10 am, as we also gather to celebrate the Bat Mitzvah of Julie Goldberg.The services, led by Marty Kahn, will conclude with an Oneg Shabbat.
