The Eighth Annual Jewish Film Festival takes place in the Doris Duke Theater at the Honolulu Academy of Arts from March 6-18. The event includes six features and one short, each film a Hawaii premiere.At the March 6 opening, filmmaker Lynn Roth will introduce her film, "The Little Traitor," starring Alfred Molina. The movie won the 2008 Audience Award for best feature film at the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival. She will lead a discussion following the film.The festival is presented by Temple Emanu-El and the Honolulu Academy of Arts. It was created in honor of the late civil rights attorney Kirk Cashmere, who was interested in sharing Jewish culture with the people of Hawaii.
